Dear colleagues,
Unfortunately, it took much longer than anticipated to write the update
regarding our initiative of the “ArrayNL platform” you will find below.
The response was enormous, thanks very much. A first summary of our
inventory is accessible through our HOMEPAGE
(at http://www.dmd.nl/arrayNL.html). We will update the information
displayed there on a regular basis; please when you have additional
information, let me know.
The ArrayNL-page contains a copy of the current E-mail list. Is your
name MISSING (Subject: add) or should it be REMOVED (subject: remove),
please let me know (ddunnen@lumc.nl) The list
also contains information on the equipment that people have acquired
and, when known, the person to contact.
ArrayNL platform meeting:
A first possibility to meet and exchange ideas will present at the
“10de Lustrum Congres” of the “Nederlandse Anthropogenetische Vereniging
(NAV)” (15 en 16 April, Congres Centrum Leeuwenhorst, Noordwijkerhout,
NL), connected to the Symposium “Genome Technology in Genetic Research”.
Our first specific meeting of the ArrayNL platform is scheduled
for Thursday (afternoon), June 24 in the Collegezaal, Androclus gebouw,
Yalelaan 1, de Uithof, Utrecht. This meeting will be organized by
Bernard van Oost, the program will be announced as soon as possible.
People who might have interesting data to present, or other contributions,
are requested to contact Bernard van Oost (BvanOoost@vet.uu.nl). When
others are interested in organizing a meeting, please let me know as
soon as possible !!
